I so related to this. I had a similar LDR with a woman in another country whom I never met in real life. The distance + Covid made it excruciating. Having emotions that needed to be wrangled in like wild horses, and put into a dark stable. Out of sight, out of mind. But still there, dying to break free.

There's something powerful about just getting to know someone before any physical contact. Something that's usually rushed through in real life. Thanks for the story.
