I understand this completely. I too wanted to transition from engineering to PM and there was nowhere to go at my last company. COVID also exasperated the isolation and poor team dynamics that led to my lack of motivation and ultimate termination. Best move ever though because I was able to launch a life coaching practice that, while not nearly as secure financially, has been a 100% worthwhile experience.
