My opinion is that money can't buy you love. It can't buy you the feeling we think of as "love" and it can't buy you the willingness to love (verb).

Money can:

1. Make you more attractive as a resource provider for those who need financial support or want a family.

2. Prevent the stress of financial instability, which destroys many relationships.

3. Affords you the ability to take vacations/travel/buy interesting things to prevent burnout and keep the oxytocin and dopamine flowing.

4. Provide for a family.

5. Buy you a nice house and safe cars.

6. Buy you expensive but healthy food.

So while I don't think that money can buy you "love"/love, it can provide the foundation on which two people can coexist with less stress and more fun. With regards to "love conquers all," it can if two people choose that and actively put in the work despite difficult circumstances.

I guess I'd change it to "Hard work and not accepting defeat conquers all."

Sure, it may not be The Little Mermaid but nothing is. When people are grounded in reality and not fantasy, and are willing to put in the work, anything's possible. There are plenty of examples of that.
